Summer has arrived and we have scheduled many classes for your “vacation” closer to home. With gas prices rising and extra money decreasing, we appreciate your business. We all need to make less trips with more planning – make sure you get your thread, batting and all your supplies at the same time to cut down on unnecessary trips. This will give you extra money for fabric. We have scheduled a summer filled with new classes that offer creativity and new skills for all of our valued customers. The big news this summer is the arrival of new Top of the Line machines for both Viking and Brother.
Viking will introduce their new machine on June 15th. They are enticing us with additional features such as a larger, brighter touch screen, the largest embroidery area ever, and a longer bed for the most spacious sewing and quilting area available. All of these new features are added to the existing outstanding lighting, the incomparable sensor system, and user friendly aspects of the existing Top of the Line SE LE. I’m leaving for convention prior to the unveiling. Hopefully, we will have the new model in the store shortly after I return. We will send out an email as soon as we have more definitive dates for the arrival of the machine.
Brother is introducing their new Top of the Line machine in August at the Brother convention, as they celebrate 100 years of innovation in the sewing industry. We will have more details as they are released.
As a result of these new machines being released, it is a wonderful time for those of you who are interested in a Top of the Line machine that has been gently used. Wesley, our wonderful mechanic, services these machines before they are offered for sale, so they are in tip-top condition. And, of course, Tomorrow’s Treasures offers a full line of new owner’s classes and clubs to realize the full potential of your purchase.
Tomorrow’s Treasures Quilting Studio is up and running, and we have been so pleased with the response to our new venture. We have samples of quilting designs and thread charts in the store, as well as a photo album of completed projects. So gather up those quilt tops that are just sitting around and get them finished so that you can enjoy the fruits of your labors.
Dakota Collectibles is returning on Friday, June 27th, to present the Second Edition of the Designer Solutions Software. Laptops will be provided for use by the attendees. There are fifteen new features to this software, including the creation of customized lettering. You will be taking home completed projects, and receive $150 in free design collections and coupons. Attendance is limited so either stop in or call the store to register for this fun and educational class.
The very popular Kids Camp will be held in July on the 14th, 16th and 18th. Sign up early, as the class is limited to seven students.
Ann Lewin is beginning a Block of the Month in September. She will be offering several sessions each month. Watch for further information, and sign up early, as Ann’s classes fill very fast.
Also in September, Emma Seabrooke, Connie Palmer and Peggy Dilbone will be returning. Each of these talented women is a much sought after teacher, and we are eagerly awaiting their return. See the newsletter for details of what they will be teaching and the dates of their classes
As always, I want to thank you all, as customers and friends, for your loyal support.
