PATTERN OF THE MONTH (Store)

A great opportunity to learn new techniques, try patterns from different companies, and get children’s clothing finished.  Select your fabrics ad cut out the pattern before class.  Then come to class and create a garment for your special child, or that imaginary grandchild.

ANGEL SLEEVE SMOCKED BISHOP DRESS (Store)

Once you have learned to smock this is a chance to put your knowledge to good use. The dress a sleeveless version that will button down the back. In the first session we will cut out the garment, hem the sleeve pieces, join the pieces together and I will pleat it. Students will need to complete the smocking before the second class. In the second class you will work to make the dress.

STAR DANCE JACKET (Shop)

Use the pattern by Elaine Waldschmitt to make this beautiful, flattering jacket. There are many different techniques involved in construction including curved piecing, couching and free-motion stitching and quilting. Some experience in free-motion machine work would be good for this class. You will need to precut your fabric before coming to class.

Class Registration Policy:  Please, please make sure that you sign up for classes, including clubs and new owner classes.  Remember, only payment secures your place in the class so plan to pay when you sign up.  If we have to cancel for any reason, we will give you a store credit or a refund.  Your choice.  If you need to cancel, please try to do so a week in advance.  Refunds/credit cannot be given without at least 48 hours notice.  Special classes require additional notice for full cancellation refund.
